Cerveza Pacifico: Bringing Peace after the Storm.

Acapulco is one of the most iconic holiday destinations on Mexico’s Pacific coast. On 25th October 2023, Hurricane Otis devastated the area, destroying a large part of its tourism and commercial infrastructure.

Cerveza Pacífico, the most emblematic beer of Mexico’s west coast, took action to support the businesses affected by the hurricane by paying tribute to them. For the first time ever, Pacífico launched a special edition in which it changed its name to Acapulco.

The results exceeded all expectations, transforming Pacífico not only into the most beloved brand on the Mexican coast but also—true to its concept—bringing peace in the midst of chaos. This initiative helped hundreds of local business owners reopen their establishments after the hurricane’s devastating impact.
